Our soaps are handmade in Quebec using the cold saponification process. There are no preservatives, stabilizers or synthetic fragrances. They are made with organic olive oil, organic coconut oil, organic shea butter, organic canola oil, clay and organic essential oils.
Yes, our soaps are formulated with gentle, natural ingredients, making them suitable for family use. However, even natural oils can cause a skin reaction in rare cases, so if redness or itching appears, discontinue use.

Using a soap dish is very important to allow the soap to dry between uses, so you'll also have a soap that lasts longer.
Our soaps can easily be kept for 1 year. Over time, the color may change and the scent may fade, but the cleansing power and the oils and butters will still have their full effect.
No, even if our soap are biodegradable, some essential oils can harm marine life. It is a false impression that any biodegradable soap should or could be used in a waterbody. If you are in a nature, use a container to bring water at good distance from the lake to wash

Yes, you can recycle the container, or even better, use it to sow herbs in the spring, or for ingredients or jewelry.
Since our candles are used outdoors, the wind and temperature outside will influence the way your candle burns. We've chosen the wick to give your candle the best possible performance, whatever the outdoor conditions.
Our candles are made with essential oils from plants that repel biting insects such as mosquitoes and black flies. The scent will help repel them. We also recommend the use of a Health Canada-approved insect repellent for 100% protection against insect bites.
Absolutely. Our candles are specially formulated for outdoor use, with a wooden wick for clean burning.
We don't recommend using our outdoor candles for indoor use, as the quantity of essential oil is high and the scent will be too strong. We do, however, have a specially formulated version for indoor use available in winter and at some of our retailers. Contact us if you're interested!
Since candles are used outdoors, several factors will influence the lifespan of your candle and the opening of the wax surface. Wind direction, outdoor temperature and exposure to the sun versus use in the shade will all have an impact on the life of your candle.
The crackling wick should be 5 mm from the surface of the wax. Be sure to remove excess burnt wood before each use.
